Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Location: Tupelo, MS
Pay Rate: $14.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours per week

Position Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Operator to join a manufacturing team in Tupelo, MS. This position is responsible for operating industrial sewing equipment to produce quality products while maintaining production standards and safety requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION – SEWING EXPERIENCE

Candidates MUST have previous sewing experience.
Manufacturing or industrial sewing experience is strongly preferred.

Candidates should be comfortable operating a sewing machine and working in a production environment. Applicants without previous sewing experience will not be considered for this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently.
• Sew and assemble materials according to production specifications.
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy.
• Follow production instructions, patterns, and specifications.
• Maintain consistent production and quality standards.
• Identify defects or issues with materials or finished products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a manufacturing team.
• Meet daily production expectations and deadlines.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SEWING EXPERIENCE.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.
• Experience operating industrial sewing equipment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistent, quality work.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
